I cannot sleep, I become very anxious before going to bed?

is there a natural way I can learn to go to sleep naturally again?

eat early.light food low calorie.walk 100 steps in bedroom,switch off all inputs to eys and ears-tv,max can listen to special soothing music which you find soothing! drink a glass of hot milk with jaifal indian nutmeg sprinkled on it ,raise the head end of the bed staid UP by 4-6 inches ,take a small soft but firm pillow.sleep on your left side when ready..take deep breaths and for effects you can thak -god? --for a great day gone and a new chance to do do something good and improve tommorrow so help me ..the spirits within or GOD? take deep breaths slowly and watch as your dirty mind and senses try to disturb you..treat them as misbehaving kindergarten kids..observe yourself as if from outside your own body..before you complete reading this you are to sleep-non stressful,rejuvenating and the best recuperation mechanism we have ..best wishes ..
Get up earlier in the morning no naps and do not drink caffeine before bed time.Additional: try playing some music and day dream. your mind will stay focused on that one subject and this will allow your body to slow down. Then when you wake up you will not remember how you feel a sleep. Just try it and see if it works for you.
Take some sleeping pills
yes. Avoid Monosodium Glutemate. It is an excitetotoxin. Avoid computer games before going to sleep. Sleep in total darkness. If you get up in the night do not turn on a light. Make sure you get at least one hour in the sun without sunblock or dark glasses. Try meletonin.
Listening to soft soothing sounds/music may help you relax better, making it easier to fall asleep. Also try a relaxing warm bath-which always ends to make people tired. If that doesn't help there is a natural supplement called melatonin that you can buy over the counter to help you sleep.
i have the same feeling you have for me its like i am thinking and in the end i dont get any sleep try relaxing and tell urself not to be so anxious.
make sure you get plenty of physical activity so that your body is tired. stay away from pills! pills will screw your "natural" cycle up. To make your mind tired, read, reduce sugar and caffeine intake per day and set a cut off time for intake - meaning you don't want your daily serving of caffeine through a coke just before bed. sex will naturally cause a man to become sleepy and the opposite for women. If you are having trouble with rewinding the day in your head then that usually means you are in need of a confidant or friend that really understands you. If this is the case then you should take more re-assurance from yourself than from someone else. Essentially, you have to train yourself to talk positive to yourself. Historically they have called this fighting your inner demons.
The best thing I ever did was to put a TV in my bedroom - one with a timer on it. I use to go to bed, and laying there in the dark and quiet is when I would think about things, and worry about things, and become anxious. I found that climbing in bed, and turning on the TV to something funny like Comedy Central, helps me to fall asleep. And with the timer set, the TV goes off by itself. I know it's helped me.

Try to give your body more of a reason to want to sleep. Try exercising if you cant fall asleep. do some push-ups or sit ups. Even get up and do some house cleaning. Anything to get youup and moving and using some energy.If nothing seems to work you can also try melatonin. It is a naturally occuring chemical released by the brain to make you want to sleep. This would be a great supplement to take to help with falling asleep and getting to sleep regularly. Once you get back on a good sleep schedule you won't need it anymore but the extra boost it gives you will help get back to peaceful sleeps.

yea...of course.just reduce the tension/stress in your life by talking it out to a trusted person...and get up early in the mornings.and PLEASE don't take sleeping pills...that's gonna make your life even worse.it works for a period of time, but later u can actually see the side affects.
before going to bed drink a glass of hot milk mixed with honey you will get a good sleep.
Before going to bed, clear your mind (and your stomach too, LOL)Try not speaking for couple of hours daily, it'll bring contentment only..lower ur anxiety, also DO NOT think too much..spend some time alone (and be really quiet) or talk to yourself about all that you're thinking(get your head clean and empty)When on bed, feel your muscles getting relaxed, just feel it, starting from your head ending to your toe, give time to yourself only..Do thing that makes you feel confident...P.S.: All this is self-testified, LOL
