I am trying to quit smoking...but i can't stop eating...help??

It has been 2 days since I quit. Now I can't stop eating! I am very thin, so I can stand to gain a few pounds, but I am scared I will get fat! Help...serious answers only!
Answer:
Its a normal feeling to want to eat more. Smoking decreases your appetite and you likely are missing the hand to mouth motion.Drink plenty of water (helps you detox too) and snack on cut up fruits and vegatbles.I'm going to pass on this site to you. I used it when I quit and it has lots of good info, advice and you can ask questions in the forums to people who are quitting too... as well as get support. (Its free). Take the time to check it out.http://www.quitnet.com
if your worried to get fat eat good foods with .( less calories , less fat , les sugar/salt)
Try chewing on a toothpick. My dad quit cold turkey and he swore that it helped him to have something in his mouth all the time. I don't recommend suckers or candy. That is just adding to the poundage. Good luck to you. I can't seem to quit for anything.
go do a cardio workout fast walk / bike ride swim etc. if you workout regularly 3 times a week you can eat all you want and you will be fine if you gain it will be muscle. I used sugar free gum when I quit that curbs the eating.
Its all in the mind. Although you cant stop eating, you may want to keep in your mind to eat healty.
