I broke my collarbone about 6 weeks ago and i want to play football in august. Can i play?any negitives?

Is there any chance i can mess up the plate i have on my collarbone.
Answer:
Ask your doctor. It depends on how rough you play and how well you heal(heal?), what position you are in and your size.Xrays probably wont be definative and your school may prohibit it based on prior injuries, so it could totaly be out of your hands.Unless you are a pro-player and were able to hide it from your current doctor and want to risk it,Che
Yes, but because it already broken it is easier to break again. You may get hit and break it again.
The collarbone is like one of the weakest bones in the body and you should talk to your doctor before you try to play.
nope you shouldnt you could mess up your coller bone
i strongly advise you not to
unless your a weirdo who likes pain..then by all means...

Last year my Grandson broke his arm in spring practice, and he played all year for our school, who by the way won the 5A State Championship in Ark... Papaw Jim
